Concord, CA - March 30, 2009 - In response to customer demand for affordable, exact-day intermodal delivery, MOL is proud to announce its new Gator Guarantee (GG) offering guaranteed, on-time service.
Beginning May 1, 2009, MOL's Gator Guarantee will provide customers with a service guarantee on the company's own vessel strings, the Pacific Southwest Express (PSX) and Japan-American Shuttle (JAS). The guaranteed service will be offered to major US destinations, including New York, Chicago, Memphis, Dallas and Atlanta.
Under the GG agreement, MOL will deliver, in return for a reasonable fee, cargo by the stated date. Should MOL fail to deliver under the agreed upon terms, in addition to a full fee refund, MOL will also provide the customer an additional compensatory amount. GG will be available in MOL's tariff for all customers to access, but may also be included in individual service contracts, ensuring that all specified destinations will be covered under the program.
In addition to MOL's financial stability and 125 years of shipping experience, BNSF Railway Company (BNSF) offers shippers the most frequent and reliable rail departures from BNSF's Los Angeles Hobart terminal.
